Hanover Building Partners, LLC was begun in 2001 by Rodney Harris as the Custom Homes Division of Harris Residential Construction, LLC. It was his desire to take the company in a new direction, focusing more on the custom home market. “There was a time when we built dozens of speculative homes each year. We rarely got to know our customers because our homes were purchased just as construction was complete. Custom home building affords us the opportunity to work one on one with the home buyer. This way we create each new home with a specific family in mind.” Today the company limits itself to no more than five custom projects each year while maintaining some speculative inventory in the more desirable neighborhoods of New Hanover, Brunswick, Pender and Onslow Counties. These speculative homes are approached as custom home projects in that the same high quality materials and amenities typically selected by the company’s custom home buyers are incorporated. In fact, the company employs a professional Interior Designer to assist in color and materials selections and makes this individual available to its custom home buyers as a part of each new home package. We often work with stock plans by architects and designers from around the country, guiding home buyers in making design changes to fit their lifestyle or a unique homesite. |
